TED-MeD wird Entwicklungs- und Zulassungsprozesse beschleunigen mithilfe eines interaktiven, KI-basierten Assistenten und eines speziell f\u00fcr die Medizintechnik entwickelten Prozessmodells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forschungsstiftung.bayern.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bayerische Forschungsstiftung<\/a> f\u00f6rdert TED-MeD nach einem kompetitiven Selektionsverfahren <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forschungsstiftung.bayern.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/241216_Pressemitteilung.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mit insgesamt <strong>\u20ac956.832<\/strong><\/a> und unterst\u00fctzt damit die Zielsetzung des Konsortiums, medizintechnische Innovationen voranzutreiben.<\/p>\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tedmeds-holistic-approach\"><strong>Der ganzheitliche Ansatz von TED-MeD<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n<p>Die Entwicklung von Medizinprodukten unter der EU <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/eli\/reg\/2017\/745\/oj\/eng?eliuri=elireg2017745oj&amp;locale=de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Medizinprodukteverordnung<\/a> (MDR) ist ein zeit- und kostenintensiver Prozess. Insbesondere der Einsatz fortschrittlicher Technologien, etwa KI-gest\u00fctzter Robotik, f\u00fchrt zu zus\u00e4tzlicher Komplexit\u00e4t bei Sicherheitspr\u00fcfungen und Zertifizierungen. Vielfach verz\u00f6gert sich dadurch der Markteintritt innovativer Ideen, wodurch potenzielle Therapieans\u00e4tze f\u00fcr Patientinnen und Patienten ungenutzt bleiben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hier setzt TED-MeD an: Durch die Entwicklung eines umfassenden, auf die Medizintechnik ausgerichteten Prozessmodells und eines interaktiven Assistenzsystems f\u00fcr Entwicklerteams werden sicherheits- und zulassungsrelevante Anforderungen fr\u00fchzeitig ber\u00fccksichtigt \u2013 von der ersten Konzeption bis hin zur endg\u00fcltigen Zertifizierung. Dieses Vorgehen ist gerade f\u00fcr Unternehmen ohne umfangreiche regulatorische Erfahrungen bahnbrechend, da es eine strukturierte, effiziente und sicherheitsorientierte Produktentwicklung erm\u00f6glicht.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cTED-MeD ebnet den Weg f\u00fcr eine sicherere und gleichzeitig kosteng\u00fcnstigere Entwicklung von Medizinprodukten. Indem wir Konformit\u00e4t und Sicherheit bereits in einem fr\u00fchen Stadium adressieren, geben wir KMU die M\u00f6glichkeit, bahnbrechende L\u00f6sungen schneller auf den Markt zu bringen und Patientinnen und Patienten fr\u00fcher zug\u00e4nglich zu machen.\u201d<\/p>\n<cite>Prof. Franziska Mathis-Ullrich (FAU\/SPARC)<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"demonstrator-robotic-catheter-manipulator\"><strong>Anwendungsfall: Robotischer Kathetermanipulator<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n<p>Einen zentralen Bestandteil des Projekts bildet die Entwicklung eines neuartigen robotischen Kathetermanipulators f\u00fcr endovaskul\u00e4re Eingriffe. Dieser Demonstrator greift nicht nur die technischen Herausforderungen modernster Medizintechnik auf, sondern veranschaulicht auch, wie das TED-MeD-Konzept in einer realen Anwendung umgesetzt werden kann. Durch proaktive Risikoerkennung und fortlaufende Optimierung des Designs soll so die Zeit bis zur Marktreife verk\u00fcrzt werden, ohne dabei Kompromisse bei der Sicherheit einzugehen.<\/p>\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"partners-in-innovation\"><strong>Partners f\u00fcr Innovation<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n<p>Together with CertHub and the Laboratory for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sparc.tf.fau.de\/\">Surgical Planning and Robotic Cognition (FAU\/SPARC)<\/a>, headed by Prof. Dr. Mathis-Ullrich at Friedrich-Alexander-Universit\u00e4t Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg (FAU), we are advancing the development of innovative medical technology. FAU\/SPARC stands out for its cutting-edge research in the fields of AI, robotics, and translational biomedical engineering, delivering essential insights for pioneering medical solutions. CertHub contributes extensive expertise in certification and regulatory processes, ensuring that the products developed meet the requirements of the MDR and other international guidelines. Last but not least, we contribute our proven experience in automating functional safety analysis that is already reducing product risks whilst accelerating the development process, getting safer products to market quicker for customers today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cBei TED-MeD kommen technologische Innovation, Zertifizierungs-Know-how und akademischer Expertise zusammen.
