Press Release | Munich, Germany – May 2nd, 2022
Modelwise is excited to announce its selection for the prestigious Intel Ignite accelerator program. This elite initiative, hosted by Intel, brings together technology leaders, industry professionals, and deep-tech founders from around the world. Designed to foster the development of cutting-edge ideas into industry-disrupting technologies, the Ignite accelerator program is set to shape the future of the tech industry with groundbreaking companies.
Over the next 11 weeks, Modelwise will embark on a transformative journey through the program, which offers extensive support across critical areas essential for startup success. Participants will engage in a series of events, workshops, and pitching opportunities, providing an invaluable platform for networking with experienced professionals and mentors.
The selection process for the Intel Ignite program is highly competitive, with an admission rate of under 5%. Deep-tech startups must pitch to panels of VCs and industry experts, showcasing novel technology, strong teams, and promising business opportunities. Eligible companies must demonstrate technology that aligns with or leverages Intel’s advancements and have raised at least one million euros. Modelwise rose to the challenge of this competitive process, and successfully earned its place as one of the 10 startups chosen from over 250 applicants for Ignite’s third European ‘Batch’.
As the program unfolds, Modelwise anticipates achieving significant milestones. The company looks forward to engaging with inspiring mentors, exploring new business growth strategies, and building a robust network within the Intel ecosystem. The program will culminate in a finale at the 1E9 – Festival of the Future, hosted at the Deutsches Museum, where Modelwise’s CEO, Florian Grigoleit, will pitch the company’s innovative ideas to a large audience, setting the stage for future growth and success.
Additionally, Modelwise will showcase its groundbreaking innovations at Intel’s Innovation Conference in San Jose, CA, alongside peers. This exposure will provide a remarkable opportunity to connect with the deep-tech community and potential investors, further positioning Modelwise for future achievements.
Modelwise is eagerly anticipating the journey ahead and the opportunities that the Intel Ignite program will bring. The support from Intel’s dedicated staff, including fundraising assistance and critical pitch feedback, will be invaluable. Participation in the Intel Ignite program marks a significant milestone for Modelwise, and the company looks forward to leveraging this experience to refine its products, secure funding, and establish itself as an industry leader.
